RPCV Appointed Foundation Director

Edward Kadunc, a Colombia RPCV (1965-68) and former Colombia Peace Corps staff (1968-73), was appointed Executive Director of the Pan American Health and Education Foundation in January.

After Peace Corps, Ed headed USAID missions in Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Bosnia Herzegovina. He also served in Bolivia, Jamaica, Nicaragua, and Peru, specializing in public health and population, small business development, the environment, and economic reform.

Most recently, he was mission director in Mexico for USAID. He designed and administered an HIV/AIDS Stigma Reduction in the Work Place program with leading U.S. companies in Mexico and the Mexican Federal Secretary of Health. He also implemented a university partnership program involving Mexican and U.S. universities.

The Pan American Health and Education Foundation is a U.S. public charity working with the Pan American Health Organization to combat disease, lengthen life, improve health care services, foster health research, and enhance the capacities of health care workers in the Americas through grant-making and direct program implementation.
